Celebrity Dog Trainer and Vet Med Professional Give Dinovite Dental Chews “Two Paws Up”
Keeping your dog’s teeth clean is about more than fresh breath. Good oral health can play an important role in your dog’s overall wellness, and finding a dental chew dogs actually enjoy can make daily dental care much easier.
That’s why we were excited to see DogTV’s Paws Up crew and social media super-dog Willy Good Dog try Dinovite Dental Chews for themselves.
Featuring real reactions from dogs and experienced pet professionals alike, the episode highlights what makes Dinovite Dental Chews stand out, from their unique texture to their oral health-supporting ingredients.
The episode also features celebrity dog trainer and pet personality Chrissy Joy alongside Walter, a veterinary medicine professional, as they introduce Dinovite Dental Chews to Willy and Jax on DogTV’s Paws Up.
Together, the group discusses the importance of canine dental care, key product features, and real-world chew testing with the dogs themselves.

Why Dog Dental Health Matters
Many dog owners focus on bad breath as the first sign of dental issues, but oral health affects much more than smell alone.
Plaque and tartar buildup can contribute to discomfort, unhealthy gums, and long-term dental problems if left unmanaged. In the video, the hosts also discuss how dental health may impact a dog’s overall health and wellness including heart health.
That’s why daily dental care routines like including brushing, regular vet checkups, and quality dental chews, are an important part of supporting your dog’s health.
What Makes Dinovite Dental Chews Different?
During the review, one feature stood out immediately: texture. Chrissy Joy described Dinovite Dental Chews as: “Probably the toughest that I’ve actually noticed.”
The chew’s ridged shape is designed to help scrape against teeth while chewing, helping reduce plaque buildup as dogs gnaw and enjoy their treat.
At the same time, Chrissy Joy noted that the chew is: “Pliable enough yet hard enough”
This balance matters because dogs need a chew that is durable enough to support cleaning action while still being appropriate for chewing comfortably.
The dental chew’s tooth-shaped design also helps reach different surfaces of the mouth during chewing sessions.
Fresh Breath Support With Functional Ingredients
DogTV hosts also highlighted several ingredients formulated to support oral health and fresher breath, including:
• Postbiotic oral health support
• Baking soda
• Green tea extract
Dinovite Dental Chews also feature the most clinically studied postbiotic used in pet supplements, helping support a healthier oral environment. The chews guarantee fresher breath within 7 days of consistent use.
Real Dogs Approved
Of course, the best review often comes from the dogs themselves.
Both Willy and Jax were immediately interested in the chews during the segment, enthusiastically chewing and returning for more.
The episode ends with plenty of playful canine approval, including jokes about “pretending to have bad breath” just to get another chew.
For pet parents, that enthusiasm matters. A dental chew only works if dogs actually want to eat it, and these dogs definitely did.

DogTV “Paws Up” Featuring Dinovite Dental Chews
[00:03] Chrissy Joy: Welcome to Dog TV's Paws Up!, where we are going to check out pet products with Willy and Jax and my good friend Walter. We have a new product to show you guys today, and this one I'm especially excited about because my dogs get some stinky breath at home.
[00:17] Walter: Oh, mine too, and they love to be right here, don't they? They like to be right here.
[00:25] Chrissy Joy: And then they kiss you and there’s just a little of that residue. Oh! So I'm going to open this up right away. So if you want to go ahead and chat a little bit about the product, I'm going to get it open.
[00:32] Walter: So this is Dinovite. Right. One thing that we often put emphasis on is making sure we give our dog some type of dental care. Right. Dental month is big in the vet med industry.
[00:43] Chrissy Joy: It’s like a spearmint.
[00:46]Walter: Oh, wow, it looks like a tooth!
[00:49] Chrissy Joy: It looks like a tooth!
[00:51] Walter: It smells like spearmint right?
[00:53] Chrissy Joy: It smells like a wintry green spearmint smell.
[00:54] Walter: Gotcha. So I wonder, what are the features of this product?
[00:59] Chrissy Joy: So one thing that I'm noticing right off the bat is I've tried a lot of dental shoes with my dogs, and this one is probably like the toughest that I've actually noticed. And the ridges seem like they're going to be really good to really scrape against the dog's teeth. You don't want them to hurt themselves by, like, cracking down on things. But this is pliable enough yet hard enough that they're going to be able to scrape the sides of their teeth and get some of that plaque off.
[01:18] Walter: That is awesome. And it has, like a postbiotic supplement.
[01:22] Chrissy Joy: It does, for oral health.
[01:23] Walter: Yeah, for oral health. Right.
[01:23] Chrissy Joy: And that's going to help reduce that bad breath. It's kind of going to attack the bacteria before it can get in there and create some of those problems that we're seeing with dogs and dental health. And remember, if your dog has dental issues, actually that can affect their heart health, too.
[01:36:] Walter: It could, absolutely.
[01:36] Chrissy Joy: So it's really important to start at their teeth and get that really checked out and get it really in a good place to be. And it looks like this can be fed to your dog by weight. So there's different sizes. So I wouldn't give this one to your toy dog at home.
[01:50] Walter: Absolutely. Absolutely. And this is not a supplement for dental health. It is definitely a daily chew that you can give. It is absolutely incredible. And I think, you know, this is. This is awesome for our kids.
[02:02] Chrissy Joy: It even says it has green tea extract. Decaffeinated. Because, you know, my border collies do not need the caffeine.
[02:03] Walter: Yours don't need any caffeine. But this is awesome.
[02:09] And baking soda, which is really going to help with that bad breath element. And honestly, it also says you can have one chew per day for your dog. So that's really great. You can use this in your training. You can use it as a way for them to get some enrichment. And you also want to monitor anytime your dog is having any kind of chew to make sure that they're not swallowing it whole and that it's appropriate for their size and weight.
[02:27] Walter: Gotcha. And the reviews say you will notice a change in the breadth in less than a week. So I am really excited.
[02:34] Chrissy Joy: I think it's time to see if Willy and Jack' will try it. Do you got stinky breaths? Oh, we'll find out. We're going to find out. Do you want to try it?
[02:34] Jax: Stinky? No. This is vintage golden retriever breath.
[02:46] Chrissy Joy: It's a winner!
[02:48] Walter: Hey, yo. Cheap dog off. Wanna try this one?
[02:46] Willy: Dude, I was halfway to you before you even finished the question. Let me get down here and enjoy this thing. Yeah, that's good stuff.
[02:58] Chrissy Joy: All right, I'm giving this two paws up. I think they're both enjoying it and they're going to have nice and fresh breath. But again, be sure to check out Dinovite, and be sure to see if your dogs like these, and maybe you can change their dental health and have some fresh breath at home. So we'll see you next time on this amazing show, Paws Up! with Dog TV. We are giving this two paws up. He's already eating it.
[03:20] Walter: Two paws up for Dinovite.
[03:21] Jax: I don't know what's in this Dinovite, but I would definitely commit a crime for another one.
[03:25] Willy: Honestly, the best decision I've made all week. I’d leave a review, but I'm eating.
[03:31] Jax: This is definitely. Give it that. Definitely worth getting up from my nap for. If anybody needs me, I'll be over here pretending I have bad breath. Mmm yum, yum, yum!
