Cheesy Sweet Potato & Gut Health Dog Biscuits

A crunchy, cheesy snack packed with fiber and probiotics.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium sweet potato, mashed
  • 1 ½ cups oat flour (or blend rolled oats into flour)
  • ½ cup low salt shredded cheese (cheddar or parmesan)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Dinovite for Dogs gut health supplement (adjusted per serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix all ingredients until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out to ¼-inch thickness and cut into fun shapes.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 18-22 minutes until firm.
  5. Let cool before serving.

 

Freezing & Storage:

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • To freeze, place in a zip-top freezer bag and store for up to 3 months.
  • To serve, let thaw at room temperature for about 15 minutes, or pop in the oven at 300°F for 5 minutes to refresh the crunch.
